At the push of a button, the device, with its omnidirectional projection of a horizontal laser line, makes it easy, for example, to fix or mark straight-line edges of wallpaper, wall tiles, paint edges , wall cabinets or drilling holes for precisely positioned dowels at a uniform height. And all this on all four walls simultaneously!
The BD7A additionally projects a vertical laser line onto the opposite wall in order, for example, to align pictures and shelves along this straight laser cross or to lay tiles in a precise pattern. It is also possible to project a reference line inclined at a freely adjustable angle of inclination in the blink of an eye. This makes it child's play even the usually complicated installation of a railing placed parallel to the steps.
The three projection modes for almost all alignment tasks as well as the multifunctional combo stand predestine the compact laser as an indispensable precision tool for craftsmen and do-it-yourselfers.
The combined bracket with universal clamp and suction cup included in the scope of delivery of the BD7A allows a wide variety of fixing options on objects and surfaces. Whether placed on glass, on tiles, on a shelf or on a ladder: The BD7A stands effortlessly anywhere and can be oriented and tilted exactly how you need it for your job with the combo stand's adjustable articulation. The high-quality housing of the 360° laser is made of lacquered aluminum and therefore perfectly equips it for rough daily practice.
With the ¼ inch thread on the base of the device, the rotating laser can also be mounted on commercial tripods. Of course, Trotec also offers you a stable universal telescopic tripod for the BD7A and many other applications.
Optionally available: universal tripod for cross line laser, measuring devices and cameras
The universal telescopic tripod from Trotec, which can be ordered separately, has a commercially available 1/4" (6.35 mm) standard screw connection. This allows you to simply screw your cross line laser onto the tripod and position it optimally in the room. Simply extend the telescopic segment of the tripod to the desired height and fix it in place. The 3-legged construction guarantees secure footing. Furthermore, the universal tripod can also be used e.g. for photo and video cameras as well as a variety of measuring devices.

The integrated lithium-ion battery of the latest generation supplies the BD7A with enduring performance and maximum operating times. Even in daily applications with frequent
partial discharging, the lithium-ion battery guarantees a long life without the memory effect known from conventional nickel-cadmium batteries.
Extremely practical: the BD7A is charged in no time via micro USB connection, and a matching USB cable is included in the scope of delivery. Therefore, the rotating laser can also be charged in the car or via an external power bank.
